૧૨ આર્ટસ અને ૧૨ સાયન્‍સની બોર્ડની પરીક્ષા આપનારની કુલ સંખ્‍યા કરતાં બમણી સંખ્‍યા ધોરણ ૧૨ કોમર્સના સ્‍ટુડન્‍ટની હોય છે. આ વર્ષ લગભગ અઢી લાખ જેટલા સ્‍ટુડન્‍ટ ધોરણ ૧૧ કોમર્સમાં એડમિશન લેશે. કોમર્સના વિષયો સાથે ધોરણ ૧૨ પાસ કર્યા પછી આગળ અભ્‍યાસ માટે (૧) બી. કોમ. ધોરણ ૧૦ પછી શું કરવું એનો સૌથી સારો જવાબ એક લીટીમાં આપીએ તો ધોરણ ૧૧ માં એડમિશન લેવું ધોરણ ૧૦ પછી આગળ અભ્‍યાસ માટે મુખ્‍ય બે પ્રવાહો છે : (૧) સામાન્‍ય પ્રવાહ (૨) વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહ.

સામાન્‍ય પ્રવાહમાં અભ્‍યાસ :

આર્ટસના વિષયો સાથે ધોરણ ૧૨ પાસ કરનાર માટે ઉજ્જવળ ભવિષ્‍ય ધરાવતા અનેક અભ્‍યાસક્રમો છે. અંગ્રેજી, અર્થશાસ્‍ત્ર, સાયકોલોજી, સમાજશાસ્‍ત્ર, ગુજરાતી, હિસ્‍ટ્રી, ભૂગોળ જેવા કોઇપણ વિષય સાથે બી.એ. નો અભ્‍યાસ કરી શકાય છે.
